fink.browser

fink.browser lives inside the ecosystem app today: hold the wordmark, release on apps, and choose fink.browser — it opens in its own window. a standalone build is planned, which is why the browser keeps its own settings, its own keybinds, and its own internal pages instead of borrowing the main app’s.

• tracker blocking at the preload layer — privacy scripts are injected into every page and frame before the page’s own code runs, so trackers are stopped before they load, not cleaned up after.
• extensions — install from the web store; the browser carries a compatibility layer so mainstream extensions work.
• incognito tabs — isolated sessions beside your normal ones.
• glance mode, split view, flashlight, global dimmer — view tools you’ll bind once and use daily.
• tab surgery — pin, mute, duplicate, move a tab to a new window, close others, close everything above or below. horizontal or vertical tab strip, your call.
• downloads with real controls — pause, resume, and cancel from the navbar popup or the full fink://downloads page; both render the same live list.
• history & bookmarks — local, searchable, and never synced anywhere you didn’t ask for.
