fink. was built with absolute zero-knowledge architecture. Your data never leaves your machine.
Zero Telemetry
We don't collect crash reports. We don't collect usage statistics. We don't even know how many people have downloaded fink. The browser makes zero outbound network requests to our servers after the initial binary download.
Deep-Stealth Mode
While "Incognito" mode in legacy browsers just stops saving local history, fink.'s Deep-Stealth Mode (Cmd + Shift + N) goes much further:
- Canvas Fingerprint Spoofing: fink. injects mathematical noise into HTML5 Canvas APIs, returning unique fingerprints to every tracker.
- Network Level Ad-blocking: A built-in DNS sinkhole drops requests to known tracking domains before they even reach the Javascript engine.
- WebRTC Leak Prevention: Your local IP address is never exposed through WebRTC stun servers.
Managing Site Permissions
You can globally deny permissions for Camera, Microphone, and Location data in your settings config, ensuring no site can even prompt you for access.
fink. automatically clears all third-party cookies and local storage when you close a tab, unless that domain is explicitly added to your `trusted_domains` whitelist.
